Fetcher: Climate and Weather data streamer

Originally developed for Succulent City, the Fetcher is a customized component for Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to stream weather data from the Center Weather Bureau of Taiwan. With Fetcher, users can access the online database by providing the component with the API key. The database contains real-time weather data at observation posts and climate data over the past tens of decades.

The component is especially useful for urban design. Specifically, in climate-resilient designs, planner and architects can leverage this tool to test their design and urban model against realistic real-time scenario, or use it along with other programs for dynamic city planning and regulation.
